Welcome to my Ecuadorian archeology page

My goal is to share images and information about my archeological and ethnographic work on the southwest coast of Ecuador where I have found interesting people, amazing archeological sites and beauty in small things.

The ancient Manteño people who occupied the site we know as Mar Bravo, made beads and ornaments from precious sea shells whose original color is sometimes preserved for us to enjoy.
